GOD's Simple Plan of Salvation

John 14:6 (KJV)

Many believe that there are several ways or works to be done to receive salvation in Jesus Christ. God has a plan for your life, but that plan begins with 7 facts that can lead you to salvation in Jesus Christ.

Seven Facts to Salvation

1. God loves you – John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)

God’s Love for you is unconditional. In spite of what man has done, God’s love covers it all. He chose to love you and sent His son to die for us that you may have eternal life with Him.

2. You are a sinner – Romans 3:23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (KJV)

Due to the disobedience of Adam in Genesis 3, man has inherited Adams sinful nature. By this one man sin and death came into the world causing man to be out of fellowship with God.

3. You are dead in sin – Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)

The sin of Adam brought about death into the world, not only physically but more so spiritually. God said: “…for in the day that you eat of the fruit, you shall surely die” – Genesis 2:17 – (KJV/NLT) Therefore, mans payment for living life without Christ is death, eternal separation from God, however, Jesus, God’s gift to us, provides eternal life with God through Jesus Christ. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Write before statement)

4. Christ died for us – Roman 5:8: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (KJV)

Even in the midst of our sin, God’s love for us is on display. Because of sin, man couldn’t do anything to save himself. It’s because of God’s love that he sacrificed His only son that man may have a relationship with Christ.

5. You can be saved – Acts 16:30, 31: And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Just as the jailer asked this question, many are asking this very question. The response is, believe. Believe is to trust, completely rely on God alone for salvation. Complete faith is the key to salvation in Christ.

6. You can be saved and know it – I John 5:11-12: And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son of God has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life. (KJV)

These verses gives us the assurance of our salvation in Christ. Assurance is to put beyond all doubt. The record is the word of God. God gives eternal life through his Son, Jesus Christ. He who receives Christ as lord of his life has eternal life with Christ. He that does not receive Christ does not have eternal life but rather is forever separated from God. All who receive the son is forever in the family of God and will one day live with Him forever.

7. Now that you’re a child of God you ought to obey Him – Acts 5:29: Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. (KJV)

Now that we have given our lives to God we must now learn to obey Him, respond to his commands. Love, forgive, and learn to stand firmly on His word that we may live a life that’s pleasing to God.

Read these facts carefully. Through what you have read has prompted you to give your life to Christ, simply ask Christ into your life. Ask him to come into your life, forgive you of your sins, believing He is the Son of God.

God Bless you all and may he ever keep you, is our prayer.

Faith:

Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. But without faith it is impossible to please Him.
